The tool box like an artist’s work table or paint box. holds all the tools we will use to drew, paint, erase and other wits work on the picture. There are four categories of tools in photo shops toolbox:


Photoshop tool are:
Marquee tools
Lasso tools

Healing brush , path, color replacement tools,
Clone stamp tool
Smudge, sharpen ,blur tool,

Selection tools
The group at the top of the toolbox is called as selection tool. It constitutes of there kinds:
1. the marquees
2. the lassos
3. the magic wand.
The selection tools are used to select all or part of a picture
The marquee tool marquee tools make rectangular, elliptical, single row and single column selections.

1. The move tool moves selections, layer, and guides.
2. the lasso tools make freehand polygonal
3. The magic wand tool selects similarly colored areas.
4. The slice tool creates slices. The slice selecting tool selects slice.

Painting Tools
The members of painting tool group are an airbrush , paintbrush pencil, & rubber stamp.
1. The Healing Brush and Patch Tolls rectify the imperfect area of the image.
2. The color Replacement tool replaces a selected color with a new color.
3. the paintbrush tool paints brush stokes.
4. the pencil tool paints hard-edged strokes.
5. the clone stamp tool paints with a sample of an image.
6. the pattern stamp toll paints with part of an image as pattern.
7. the history brush tool paints a copy of the selected state or snapshot into the current image window.
8. the art History brush tool paints with stylized strokes that simulate the look of different paint styles , using a selected state or snapshot.
9. the eraser tool erases pixels and restores part of an image to a previously saved state.
10. the background eraser tool erases areas to transparency by dragging.
11. the magic eraser tool erases solid-colored areas to transparency with a single click.
12. the gradient tools create straight-line , radial, angle reflected, and diamond, blends between colors.
13. the paint bucket tool fills similarly colored areas with the foreground color.
14. the blur tool blurs hard edges in an image.
15. the sharpen tool sharpens soft edges in an image
16. the smudge tool smudges data in an images.
